LeBron James Reacts To Ohio State’s All-Black Jerseys: “And By The Way These Black Unis Are Sick!”

LeBron James was hyped to see the Ohio State Buckeyes sport their alternate all-black jersey for their College Football game against the Wisconsin Badgers.

LeBron James’ allegiance to Ohio State is well known at this point. James is a massive Buckeyes fan who has stated in the past that if he had decided to go to college instead of directly entering the NBA from high school, then he would have headed over to OSU.

He even attended their Week 1 College Football game as the Buckeyes defeated Notre Dame and LeBron has been keenly following their games on television after that too. The NBA season is yet to start, so LeBron does have some time on his hands and with the team facing the Wisconsin Badgers on Saturday, you knew LeBron was going to tune in.

The Buckeyes were 3-0 entering this week’s game, and they sported their alternate all-black jersey for it. It is just the fourth time in program history that these have been worn and the team had won in all three previous instances.

It was much of the same this time around as well as they improved to 4-0 when wearing this and on the season, as they demolished the Badgers 52-21. LeBron was hyped about the performance of the team and also their jersey, as he was full of praise for it.

They do look great and so do the Buckeyes, who will return to the College Football Playoff if they keep playing this way. They had missed out last season and seem to be on a mission to get back there.

LeBron will be hoping that the Lakers can get off to a hot start like this once their season starts next month as they too look to bounce back after missing the playoffs last season. While we know that LeBron will do his part in helping them do that, there are a lot of concerns elsewhere.

Anthony Davis is the biggest one of them, as he has been a shell of the player who dominated in the 2020 playoffs in these last two seasons. Vince Carter said that AD needs to take the burden off James, who is entering his 20th season in the league, and if Davis doesn’t step up to the plate, then it is hard to see this team going anywhere. They have made some solid acquisitions this offseason with Patrick Beverley being the headline act, but it won’t be enough if AD can’t get back to his best.

His passion for the sport was ignited after witnessing the high-octane offense of the Steve Nash-led Phoenix Suns. Among the Suns, Shawn Marion stood out to Gautam as an all-time underrated NBA player. Marion’s versatility as a defender and his rebounding prowess, despite being just 6’7”, impressed Gautam immensely. He admired Marion’s finishing ability at the rim and his shooting, despite an unconventional jump shot, believing that Marion’s skill set would have been even more appreciated in today’s NBA.This transformative experience not only deepened his love for basketball but also shaped his approach to sports writing, enabling him to connect with readers through vivid storytelling and insightful analysis.
