LeBron James dazzled in the fourth quarter against the Phoenix Suns on Thursday night, and toward the end of the contest, he leaped ridiculously high to deflect an inbounds pass that was aimed at Kevin Durant. The picture of James high in the air went viral, and he reacted to it as well.

That definitely seemed alienish right there. I honestly can’t believe that a 38-year-old man in his 21st season can jump that high up in the air, especially toward the end of a game where he played 35 minutes. It is a testament to how well LeBron takes care of his body.

As for what else happened on the court, James took over in the fourth quarter with 10 points to lead a come-from-behind win for the Los Angeles Lakers. They were down 12 entering the fourth, but won 100-95, with James finishing the night with 21 points, 8 rebounds, 9 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks.

NBA Fans Were In Awe Of LeBron James

Whether you are a fan of James or not, you can’t help but be impressed by that. NBA fans were in awe of him as they reacted to the viral picture.

One couldn’t believe that the oldest player in the league did this, “Sheesh. How is he the oldest and still one of the most athletic on the court?”

A fan said LeBron can play for another decade, “Got 10 more years left in the tank.”

One joked that the NBA is about to drug test James, “They finna drug test him.”

A fan thinks LeBron is not human, “Bron’s gotta be a cyborg there’s no way.”

One thought this picture was fake, “I was thinking it was photoshopped gang.”

I wouldn’t blame someone for thinking it might be photoshopped because it shouldn’t be possible for someone nearing their 40s to do this. Then again, LeBron has made a career out of making the impossible possible, so in a way, it perhaps isn’t too surprising.

LeBron James’ Intense Preparation For The 2023-24 Season

Now, genetics obviously play a part in LeBron being so spry at this age, but he still has to put in a lot of work to be able to do such things. Lakers GM Rob Pelinka revealed James’ intense preparation for the 2023-24 season.

“It’s staggering for a player who has 20 years under the hood already and is preparing for 21 like he’s a rookie,” Pelinka said per Dave McMenamin of ESPN. “He’s been doing 6 a.m. workouts. Probably been in our building as much as any player this offseason. Been in the weight room as much as any player. Any team LeBron’s played for, it’s been pretty uniform that his work sets the tone.

He has really set a great example for the rest of his team to follow. You wouldn’t criticize a man who has accomplished so much in the league and has played for so long for taking it easy, but that’s just not who James is. LeBron remains as hungry as ever, and he has his eyes set on capturing his fifth NBA championship.
