LeBron James had a heartfelt message for Django star Jamie Foxx after a medical complication saw him hospitalized.

Taking to Twitter, the Los Angeles Lakers superstar wrote, “Sending my thoughts and prayers to the heavens above to my brother @iamjamiefoxx !!!! Get well and back to yourself SOONER THAN LATER! God willing”

Latest developments suggest Foxx is recovering well. As far as his relationship with James goes, the two seem to share a good bond, with the actor garnering praise for his impeccable LeBron impressions.

And more importantly, Foxx has also been a big fan of The King and has taken his side in the LeBron James vs. Michael Jordan debate. It’s good to see James reach out to the Academy Award winner with a wholesome message.

LeBron James And The Los Angeles Lakers Gear Up For A Stern Postseason

After a dismal 2021-22 season that saw the Lakers finish at 33-49 and fail to make the playoffs, they more than made up for it with some scintillating basketball this time around. The Lakers finished seventh seed after edging out the Minnesota Timberwolves 108-102 in OT to book a playoff berth.

Their actual season begins now as they face off against the formidable Memphis Grizzlies, who made the postseason last year before the Golden State Warriors knocked them out in the sixth game of the Western Conference semifinals.

Earlier, NBA analyst Nick Wright believed the Lakers would win the title. “The King stay the king for ring number five over Joel Embiid and James Harden,” Wright said on Frist Things First.

But LA’s confident surge in the second half of the regular season doesn’t necessarily put them down as favorites. However, they do have the firepower to vault over Memphis.

The Lakers can’t be discounted as long as they have a healthy LeBron James and Anthony Davis, but there’s no doubt that their road to the finals will be a challenging one.
