2020 was a notoriously bad year for humanity. From wildfires to COVID-19, to social justice protests, 2020 was full of challenges and obstacles that will forever go down in history.

So, at the start of a fresh New Year, Lakers superstar LeBron James made sure to send out a message of encouragement to his millions of fans around the globe, preaching opportunity and hope amid unfortunate times.

“Day 1 of 365! Make the most out of each one of them! 2021 is yours, go get it! ”

LeBron James and the Lakers ended 2020 with a Championship win, edging out the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals. The hope for Bron is that he can lead his team to similar results again this year.

Of course, it won’t be easy. LA and their updated roster are already experiencing some growing pains and James’ 36-year-old body is not getting any younger. But if the Lakeshow were able to surpass and overcome all of the challenges laid out since last October, who is to say they couldn’t do it again?

We don’t yet know what 2021 will bring. Hopefully, it will be better and the Lakers will be able to focus on basketball. Either way, LeBron is ready and determined to make the most of these next 12 months.
