Alex Caruso got to play against LeBron James for only the second time in his career. James and Caruso played together for 3 years and even won an NBA championship together in 2020. The two shared an unlikely yet strong bond during their time together in LA, and it appears that bond is still going strong.

After the game, James put out a picture on his Instagram story, shouting out Alex Caruso, and calling him a brother from another mother. Caruso shared this mention in his story, saying that it is always loved between the two. Despite Caruso leaving the Lakers, he and James are on great terms.

Caruso and James had great chemistry together on the Lakers. Despite Caruso initially starting off as a two-way player with the Lakers, he eventually got a permanent contract with them and became a stalwart for the team. Caruso was one of the team’s best defenders and played a key role in them winning an NBA championship.

Caruso left the Lakers this past offseason, as they failed to match the offer the Bulls gave him and even lowballed him in order to fit him into their salary cap. Caruso made the best decision for himself and joined the Bulls, a move that has helped elevate them into one of the best teams in the NBA.

James has been on the receiving end of some incredible lobs from Caruso. The chemistry the two exhibited during their time together was truly incredible. The duo worked very well off each other, and Caruso ended up becoming one of James’ most consistent teammates while they played together.

While they no longer play together, they will forever be bonded together by winning an NBA championship together. Going forward, fans of Caruso and LeBron will be hoping to see them play together in the future.
