LeBron James might be one of the greatest freak athletes the NBA has ever seen. At 6’8 and almost 260 pounds, LeBron James moves with incredible speed and has a near-impossible vertical on the court, even as he approaches the age of 37. Against the Dallas Mavericks, LeBron James showed that vertical off to the whole world.

During the game against the Dallas Mavericks, LeBron James leaped high into the air to block a shot. In the process, LeBron James soared incredibly high, so much so that he even hit his head on the underside of the backboard. It was a moment that put into perspective just how incredible an athlete LeBron James is, even this late into his career.

James and the Lakers had to play an incredibly resilient Mavericks team, who were playing without Luka Doncic. But they did not make things easy for the Lakers, pushing them to overtime, and making every player on the team work incredibly hard to get the win. The block from James is a prime example of how hard the Lakers had to work during the game

In the end, it was an incredible three-point shot from rookie Austin Reeves that sealed the win for the Lakers. Fans were shocked at the nature of the win, as the Lakers grounded it out against Dallas. After the game, the team threw a wild celebration in the locker room for Reeves, cheering the rookie on for making such a big shot.

James has been fantastic over the last few weeks and has been playing some of the best basketball of the last few years. James seems motivated this season, and that motivation will probably increase once he sees the recent poll from former NBA players that says Kevin Durant is the best player in the world over him.
