Following the fiasco that was the 2019 FIBA World Cup for Team USA, USA Basketball is ready for redemption and has revealed a 44-player list for the upcoming 2020 Summer Olympic Games.

Last year several players opted not to play for the national team, which created a lot of troubles for Gregg Popovich and his coaching staff. In the end, they couldn’t get past France in the World Cup, which started the process for the redemption team we’ll see next summer in Tokyo.

USA Basketball shared a list of 44 finalists for the 2020 USA Basketball Olympics men’s team, led by superstars LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, and Kawhi Leonard.

After all the struggles and bad results they had in Spain last September, Team USA is ready to reclaim its throne as the ruler of basketball. Of course, this won’t be an easy task, but seeing their list of players, they have a huge chance to take it all in Japan next August.
