LeBron James may be a billionaire and one of the greatest NBA players of all time, but at the end of the day, he is just a massive basketball fan. LBJ is in love with the game, similar to how players like Kevin Durant obsess over the game. As a result, James keeps himself around the game during the offseason, as evidenced by his recent appearance in the Drew League.

James is also known to actively watch non-NBA games as a courtside spectator. Naturally, he attends games his son Bronny plays for Sierra Canyon high school, but he can also sometimes be spotted at major youth camps, college games, and various other places where competitive basketball is being played.

There are iconic clips of James watching young Stephen Curry at Davidson or Scottie Barnes when he was still in high school. Another player that has made LeBron take notice is Tre Johnson, who is a 5* recruit in the 2024 High School Class.

Tre Johnson is ranked #4 nationally in the 2024 Class and is already fielding scholarship offers from the best NCAA schools. Johnson is yet to make a decision but has formal offers from Duke, Kentucky, Baylor, Kansas, UNC, Texas, and various other colleges for when he transitions out of high school.

Johnson is a 6’5 shooting guard and is a pure wing player. He is a versatile scorer with tremendous offensive upside. He is already a good shooter, has athleticism and length, and has a good feel of the court.

The silky smooth finish that got LeBron to react to him is just one of the many moves in his bag of tricks. He is going to be a prospect to watch over the next few years as he progresses through the ranks before knocking on the door of the NBA if nothing goes wrong.
