Isaiah Thomas’ story is inspiring. He was the last pick of the Draft and bounced around the league, told he was too short to be an NBA player, yet he proved his doubters wrong by becoming a 2-time All-Star and a fan favorite with the Boston Celtics.
Thomas left everything on the court night in and night out. He even balled his heart out hours after the death of her sister.
Sadly, the NBA hasn’t appreciated him the same way. He struggled to get back to his best after suffering a back injury and he’s been trying to get another shot in the league ever since.
He was clearly emotional after dropping 81 points in a Pro-Am game in Seattle, frustrated because of the lack of opportunities he’s gotten in the NBA:

Social media reacted in support of Thomas, and while he was overwhelmed by the love and affection, he wanted to let everybody know that he didn’t want them to feel sorry for him:
“I wasn’t showing y’all a snippet of me being emotional so y’all can feel sorry 4 me. Hell no!!! My life is GREAT!! I was showing y’all that to see what it feels like to give everything you have to something you love and to see it slowly coming back where it’s suppose to be TMC,” Thomas tweeted.
“That emotion was tied up from the last 4yrs battling every single day!!! I ain’t talking about the “league” giving up on me lol. THE WORLD GAVE UP ON ME & WAS SHITTING ON ME WHILE I WAS DOWN AND OUT!! When you love something you’ll do whatever it takes to get that!!! I’m back,” he added.

Plenty of NBA figures have advocated for Thomas’ comeback. In fact, even LeBron James – who some reports said that he didn’t get along with him – reacted and showed his support:
“Yessir Killa!! Keep going my G!” LeBron told him. “You already know KING!!! All love killa. This sh*t don’t stop,” Thomas replied.

The truth is that Isaiah Thomas is too good of a scorer not to be on an NBA roster. Look what happened with Carmelo Anthony and how he proved everybody wrong again. Get this man signed ASAP.
