LeBron James: “To Lose The Black Panther And The Black Mamba In The Same Year, We Can All Agree 2020 Is The S******* Year”

Chadwick Boseman’s passing was shocking knowing his condition and how he fought a disease without anybody knowing about it. Boseman was a great actor, a terrific star who has ties with the NBA. That’s the reason why so many people around the league grieved this loss and the league had a minute of silence in his honor on Saturday. LeBron James also paid tribute to Boseman before his game against the Portland Trail Blazers, doing the ‘Wakanda Forever’ sign during the national anthem.

LeBron talked about this gesture and the impact that Boseman’s death has on the league, remembering that this year hasn’t been easy for anybody and the league isn’t exempt from that. James remembered that not only Boseman left this world this year but Kobe Bryant, who died on January 26 in a fatal helicopter crash.

After the 135-122 victory over Portland, Bron mentioned that he was inspired by Boseman’s performance in ‘Black Panther,’ where he played the role of King T’Challa.

“To lose the Black Panther and the Black Mamba in the same year, we can all agree that 2020 is the s–ttiest year,” he declared.

Before this, Bron had posted a picture of himself with Boseman, captioning it ‘Rest In Paradise King ! #TheHellWith2020 #FCancer”.

The year 2020 will be remembered for a long time but it’s hard to think it’ll be because of the right things. This year has tested all of us and has taken some important people away from us. The Black Panther and the Black Mamba will always be remembered with happiness. They were an inspiration for many people around the world and there is nothing that can change that.
