LeBron James Was Not Happy With Talen Horton-Tucker Making A Selfish Play Against The Raptors

LeBron James’ frustration was on full display for the entire NBA to see when the Lakers played against the Toronto Raptors. The Lakers put on yet another dismal performance and lost the game. But the one key difference in this loss compared to the Lakers’ other losses this season was that we saw LeBron James lose his cool on multiple occasions.

During the game, Talen Horton-Tucker drove to the basket and put up a shot, even though his teammate Carmelo Anthony was open. THT missed the shot and got fouled when he was trying to put the rebound back into the basket. James could be seen yelling at Horton-Tucker for the play as the players got ready for THT to shoot free throws.

This was far from the only outburst James had during the game. LeBron was furious with the rest of the Lakers for not being able to secure a rebound. After the game, a video surfaced that allowed fans to hear exactly what James was saying to them. It is rare to see LeBron lose his cool the way he did last night.

In fact, James was presumably so frustrated that he even refused to speak to the media after the game was over. LeBron has pretty consistently been speaking to the media after games this season, despite how poor the Lakers have been. So one can imagine how angry he was after the game that he didn’t want to speak to the media.

The Lakers are in a pretty dire situation at the moment, as they are currently the 9th seed in the Western Conference and are 10 games under the .500 mark. If the Lakers want a better seed, they desperately need to start winning some games in this final stretch of the NBA regular season.
