Lou Williams Responds After Verbal Exchange With Paul George Goes Viral

2 Min Read

The Los Angeles Clippers are dealing with a number of problems this season. Aside from injury, load management, and inconsistent play, they appear to be dealing with some conflict between their best players.

Lou Williams and Paul George were seen arguing over a blown defensive play in last night’s scrappy win against the Sixers and many thought it was a testament to how things were going in the locker room.

Today, Williams took that same video and used it to battle against the haters.

Obviously, Lou finds it ridiculous that people are using the video as proof of a rift between him and PG. To him, it simply shows two competitors trying to work things out after a defensive mistake.

But it hasn’t been the first controversy to come their way. Reports of preferential treatment by the front-office were followed by comments made by Montrezl Harrell that seemed to indicate deeper problems in the locker room.

Still, these types of things do happen for teams throughout the season and it’s routine for teammates to hold each other accountable.

For the Clippers, the narrative has been one of strife and division. With a record of 41-19 in the West, it’s fair to say they’ve unachieved this season. And while nobody can say for certain how they will fare in the playoffs, one has to think they have enough talent to overcome any challenge that comes their way.
