Magic Johnson: ‘The Clippers Choked Again… The Lakers Will Always Own Los Angeles! It Will Never Change.’

2 Min Read

Magic Johnson is one of the coolest guys in the NBA but when it comes to his Lakers, the former point guard has no mercy for the rest of the world. On Tuesday night, in the aftermath of the Los Angeles Clippers lose to the Denver Nuggets, blowing a 3-1 lead, Johnson took to Twitter to share his thoughts about the Clips and their performance in this series.

He took some jabs at the Clips and made it clear that the city of Los Angeles will always belong to the Lakers. The Clippers had one of the worst meltdowns in NBA history and this loss will hurt for several months. If you add that the Lakers fans are making fun of them, Clippers nation won’t have the best time at least until next season starts.

“The Clippers choked again. ‍♂️ They choked against Houston in 2015 and they choked tonight against the Denver Nuggets,” Johnson started.

“The @Lakers will always own Los Angeles!! It will never change ,” he added.

Magic also warned the Lakers to bring their best game for the Western Conference Finals since the Nuggets won’t be an easy rival to beat. They showed a lot of heart in the WCSF and any mistake the Lakers make, they’ll make them pay.

“The @Lakers gotta bring their A game to beat the Denver Nuggets!”

Everything is set for the Western Conference Finals. We won’t see the ultimate battle of Los Angeles for the right to play in the Finals but we’ll get to see a very good Nuggets team against the favorites to win it all, the Los Angeles Lakers of LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
