Montrezl Harrell On Clippers Locker Room: “That May Be Another Problem Right There.”

2 Min Read

In the aftermath of a 26-point beat-down by the 14-22 Grizzlies, the L.A. Clippers clearly have some issues to resolve.

According to their big man, Montrezl Harrell, not all of them are strictly on the court. The mood in the locker room, after the game, was apparently very problematic.

The Clippers have had a number of these concerning losses throughout the season. And, despite being favored to win the Championship to start the campaign, they are just 4th in the West with a 25-12 record.

To their credit, injuries have delivered a big blow to their season, and we’ve rarely seen a fully-healthy Clippers squad. Paul George, Kawhi, and Patrick Beverley have all dealt with separate bouts of injury.

Still, if there really are problems behind the scenes, it could spell disaster for the Clips. In a loaded Western Conference, L.A. needs to be at their peak if they want any hope of beating out the stiff competition. The Lakers, Nuggets, and Rockets are all currently ahead of them in the standings and all pose a serious threat to their Championship hopes in the postseason.

The Clippers will need to get themselves straight before April, May, and June.
