The Los Angeles Lakers are officially out of the 2021 playoff picture, and the future couldn’t be more unclear.

As LeBron James continues to age, and Anthony Davis’ injury concerns press on, the key to their success will be in their supporting cast, and who they’ll add to the roster remains a huge question mark.

As for former Sixth Man of the Year, Montrezl Harrell, he has yet to decide on his return to the team but insists that he did everything he was asked to do.

“I came in every day, I did my job, I did what they asked me to do. I played my role. It’s as simple as that. As far as my future, I don’t know what that holds right now. We just finished playing last night, so I can’t give you that answer right now brother, but I came in, I did my job and whenever my number was called I went out there, played to the best of my abilities, and left it all on the floor.”

Curiously, Harrell didn’t a whole lot of minutes on the floor for the Lakers, and it became a huge talking point amongst the fans.

But, despite his lack of playing time, it doesn’t seem as if Harrell has any regrets about this past season.

At this point, all he’s worried about is the future.
