Amin Elhassan is a very familiar name among NBA circles, with Amin having previously worked with the Atlanta Hawks and he was Assistant Director of Basketball Operations for the Phoenix Suns in the late-2000s as well. He worked with ESPN after his time in the NBA before leaving the organization in 2021.

Hassan now works with Dan Le Batard and has his own postgame show which was hosted after every Finals game. Things had been going pretty smoothly on Tom and Amin’s postgame show up until Game 5 of the Finals when another analyst Kevin O’Connor noticed he had a porn tab open when Amin asked him to come on screen during the show.

“In my defense, we were doing research for a movie that involved a certain adult film actress”

Amin was caught red-handed there as the entire crew started laughing at the gaffe and his defense of the matter only made the situation even more hilarious, with Zach Harper going along with it by stating that was 7 hours ago but he denied knowing anything about the porn part.

Elhassan was probably very grateful at that time for the fact that he was no longer at ESPN, as something like this while working for them might have put him out of action for quite some time. He had a controversial exit from the sports media giant and he had taken shots at Adrian Wojnarowski as well on his way out. He is in a much more informal setting here which suits him better but we can be sure he is going to be extra careful with this from here on out. Being caught with one of those tabs open is a big fear for folks and it became the unfortunate reality for Amin in this instance.
