Ex-US President Barack Obama Has Huge Praise For The Golden State Warriors: “With Four Championships In Eight Years, The Warriors Leave No Doubt Of Their Place As One Of The NBA’s Greatest Dynasties.”

2 Min Read

The Golden State Warriors have been dominating the NBA for almost a decade now. Apart from the 2019-20 and 2020-21 NBA seasons, the Dubs have made the NBA Finals in each season since 2015.

Moreover, in those six NBA Finals appearances, the Dubs have ended up on the winning side four times. It’s truly a great number and something only a dynasty can achieve in the league.

The Warriors completed their most recent championship run last week. They defeated the Boston Celtics in a closely fought NBA Finals series. Well, it was at least close during the first few games of the series. Later on, the Warriors were clearly the better side.

After their impressive championship run, the Warriors have received a lot of praise around the world. NBA Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal did so by welcoming Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green to the four rings club.

Apart from that, even former U.S. President Barack Obama congratulated the Dubs. It’s not surprising since Obama is a basketball enthusiast and has been seen many times enjoying a basketball game from courtside seats.

“With four championships in eight years, the @Warriors leave no doubt of their place as one of the NBA’s greatest dynasties. Congrats to Finals MVP Steph, Draymond, Klay, Coach Kerr and the rest of Dub Nation for such sustained excellence.”

He hailed the Warriors as one of the NBA’s greatest dynasties and congratulated Steph, Klay, Green, and coach Steve Kerr for their accomplishments.

Additionally, it seems like he is on very good terms with Stephen Curry. The former U.S. President even congratulated Curry on the phone right after winning the NBA Championship. Unfortunately, Steph pointed out that he couldn’t reveal what Obama said due to the nature of his message.

Sadly, this means we can only guess what the two might have talked about and if Curry will ever make that revelation.
