NBA Christmas Day Schedule Reportedly Leaked: Mavs Vs. Lakers, Nets Vs. Celtics

1 Min Read

With the 2020-21 NBA season set to start on December 22nd, the league was able to keep its annual Christmas Day tradition alive.

In a report by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the matchups for the highly anticipated day were revealed.

At first glance, the Mavs vs. Lakers matchup stands out, a battle in the West featuring young superstar Luka Doncic and the defending NBA Champions. At 10:30 eastern, there’s a rematch between Nuggets and Clippers.

In the East, the Nets vs. Celtics game should be exciting, as it features the NBA’s newest superteam against a young and hungry Boston squad led by Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and Kemba Walker.

Of course, there are always a few snubs every year, and this season is no different. Fans were surprised to see the Blazers, Rockets, and Raptors slated from the schedule, as well as the Lakers and Clippers not being matched up against each other.

Still, it will be a nice treat for families and a gift for basketball fans everywhere.

With the regular season having been shortened by ten games, we really have to soak in every minute of action we can.
