NBA Fan To D’Angelo Russell: “‘Dloading’ You’ve Been Loading For Almost 7 Years”

2 Min Read

D’Angelo Russell is once again making the headlines but this time it doesn’t have anything to do with his performances on the basketball court. The Minnesota Timberwolves point guard starred in a very controversial moment on Sunday night when he dared to say Anthony Edwards was going to win the 2021 Rookie of the Year award a couple of minutes after it was announced that LaMelo Ball suffered a season-ending injury.

That obviously didn’t sit well with fans, who attacked him on Instagram. The NBA community has embraced Melo after his first season in the league and once they found out what D’Lo had to say about the Charlotte Hornets rookie sensation, they went after him. One of the biggest comments that somebody made was aimed at Russell’s development and how he’s been trying to play well for the past 7 years without any success.

““dLOADING” you’ve been loading for almost 7 years,” one fan said, stealing the attention.

More fans joined this slander and supported the fan while making fun of Russell.

Still, the player demonstrated he could be a good one when he left the Los Angeles Lakers, even becoming an All-Star with the Brooklyn Nets. However, after he signed with the Golden State Warriors, his level decreased and now in Minny, he has been unable to lift his game.

Perhaps it wasn’t the right to tweet that and fans let him know. Anthony Edwards is having a very good season, too, but so far, nobody seems to be able to beat Melo, even after his injury.
