NBA Fans Agree That Russell Westbrook Must Be Stopped After 2-Minute Video Of Air Balls And Bricks: “I’ve Never Seen Anything Like That. That’s Embarrassing.”

To say that Russell Westbrook is struggling in the 2021/22 NBA season is an understatement. The Los Angeles Lakers star is having one of his worst seasons in the league, unable to make shots and impact the game as he used to in Oklahoma City, Houston, and Washington.

The Lakers are in a big predicament right now, and they don’t seem to find the answer to this issue. Russ simply can’t play well for the Purple and Gold and fans are asking the front office to get rid of the veteran player.

Every night, the fans find a new reason to hate on Westbrook, and recently, a two-minute video sparked big reactions among the community who urged the team to deal the player somewhere else. NBA Skits shared a video edit of Westbrook shooting bricks and airballs this season, demonstrating his inability to make long-range shots.

It didn’t take long for fans to react, roasting the player for his bad shots and the fact that he keeps trying them.

Russ is a competitor and he’ll never give up. However, it doesn’t seem like he’s a right fit for the Lakers, and everybody is waiting to see how much the team will wait before shipping him away.

In Wednesday night game against the Sacramento Kings, Westbrook showed off his shooting talents, attempting a 3-pointer with the Lakers down 4 after LeBron James and Austin Reaves carried the team to that point. The last time he made a 3-pointer was December 29, yet he keeps shooting that ball hoping to make something.

Every game, Russ earns more criticism from fans and media member. He’s no longer a superstar and people are blasting him more often as the days go by. Some say he could be traded ahead of the trade deadline, but it’s unclear if a team will be willing to do business with the Lakers.
