NBA stars are popular not just as some of the greatest athletes in the world, but as celebrities who set trends when it comes to fashion and culture. Their experimental looks often catch the eyes of fans and while some are appreciated, a few are also subjected to some roasting.
Kyle Kuzma is someone who isn’t afraid to try new looks and he turned up for Washington’s game against the Oklahoma City Thunder in an all-leather outfit. This led to several NBA fans on Reddit giving their take on Kuzma’s choice, and a lot of them weren’t too kind to Kuz.
Ciark: “He’s on his way to hunt down John Wick after the game.”
ObviousAnswerGuy: “I can’t stop laughing at this.”
rockytheboxer: “I think this looks absolutely idiotic, but dude is walking with confidence; he digs it and it’s totally harmless, you do you Kuz.”
sametrical: “Watch out for PETA dawg, they coming for this.”
backupgoalie: “I don’t get what he is going for. What’s with the tight top than really baggy pants? Why not a leather mask or leather shoes? I just have a lot of questions.”
cheeseman2K: “Definitely getting mad anime vibes from it. Kinda fire tbh ngl.”
Kwilly462: “Looks like a superhero suit from a CW show.”
OSAPWasteman: “He looks like a Kingdom Hearts II villain.”
InfernoidsorDie: “I don’t get why the top is so tight but the legs are so baggy.”
ironmanwatcher2: “That ain’t it Kuz. Maybe, maybe the top, but not the pants – definitely not the pants.”
PerceusJacksoneus: “Gonna come out of the locker room covered in powder and sad like Ross in that old episode of Friends.”
MorryD: “Hey buddy I think you got the wrong door, the leather club’s two blocks down.”
SilverandBlack909: “I like how everybody passing him has to act like this isn’t ridiculous.”
rSlashNBAaccount: “I thought the blond hair was the worst. I stand corrected.”
Whether people like his outfit or not, his game simply couldn’t be denied as Kuz dropped 29 points and led the Wizards to a win against the Thunder. His performances in recent games have been stellar, Kuzma has scored 20 or more in 8 consecutive games. If he continues to play like this, the Washington man could put himself in contention for the Most Improved Player award.
