Great as he is, rival fans always criticize Kevin Durant. He once was one of the most beloved players in the league, but after that infamous 2016 offseason, the perception about KD completely changed.

Kendrick Perkins recently claimed that joining the Golden State Warriors will always hunt Durant and won’t let him be considered the best player of all time. After that year, more fans started hating on KD, always trolling him on social media.

Whenever they have the chance, they go off on him, and things took to the next level recently, after Durant dropped some lyrics on Twitter. Durantula tweeted an extract of Young Thug’s “Bubbly” song, which features Travis Scott and Drake.

I came with the snakes, no squid

I broke out the game with a 456

This opened the door for fans to attack the 2x NBA champion, especially with the part of ‘snakes,’ a nickname he was given after joining the Warriors. Fans had a lot to say to KD, going further than usual.

The KD slander gets worse every season and no matter what he does, fans just love to tease him. The forward isn’t somebody you’d like to mess with, yet some folks insist on poking the bear.

Meanwhile, Kevin is getting ready to face a challenging 2021/22 NBA season where the Nets will try to win the championship, even though they’re still trying to work things out with Kyrie Irving, who refuses to take the COVID-19 vaccine.

Durant and James Harden are expected to step up in Irving’s absence and take this team to the promised land.
