The Denver Nuggets are a top-tier team in the Western Conference, and their superstar center is the reason why. Nikola Jokic is one of the best players in the league today, and he has been absolutely elite from an offensive standpoint this season. He has continued to cement his status as the best passing big man in NBA history, and he is currently averaging 25.4 PPG, 11.0 RPG, and 9.4 APG. There is definitely a chance that he could be the 3rd player ever to average a triple-double for a whole season after Oscar Robertson and Russell Westbrook.

Most recently, Nikola Jokic put up 41 points, 15 rebounds, and 15 assists against the Phoenix Suns. His performance left many fans debating whether he would be winning his 3rd MVP this year, and it seems as though many people believe that it is a solid possibility, while others are less enthusiastic about that happening.

KD getting his 2nd actually

Tatum is better by a lot Jokic just found a system where triple dubs are easy

if he wins 3 straight mvps the league is done. he is the player that least deserves an mvp 3peat

At this level he’s got an awefully good shot.

He’s good but voter fatigue gonna mess it up for him

Dread it…run from it..Jokic’s MVP still arrives.

Lebron , Jordan, Magic, Kareem, Kobe so many greats never had a 3 peat and yall think THIS guy should get it? NBA cooked product

Those numbers on Christmas day I wouldn’t be surprised.

It’s inevitable

Deserves it

Hell yes

Embiid deserved it last year, but Jokic should be the frontrunner by far this season and its not even remotely close either

I’m not even a Nuggets fan, but this guys game is definitely taken for granted.. These numbers/stats are a level up from what the great Tim Duncan was even doing, and he makes it look effortless..This league is in great hands once Lebron retires. So much young talent right now.

How Nikola Jokic won 2 MVPs is shocking. MVP award belongs to either Tatum, Luka or Giannis.

as of right now he has to be the mvp

Nikola Jokic’s production certainly suggests that he deserves to be in the MVP conversation. While there are definitely other elite candidates such as Jayson Tatum, Nikola Jokic’s name should certainly be in the conversation.

Nikola Jokic Is Similar To Tim Duncan

Nikola Jokic’s playstyle is unassuming on the court, but he is capable of putting up stats in a hurry and dominating the game without really drawing attention to himself. He has often been compared to Tim Duncan, with Shaquille O’Neal being the most recent player to make that comparison.

“Kenny and Chuck, I hope you agree with me. He is the Tim Duncan of big men… The way he dominates the game, it’s not flashy, love this kid and how he plays.”

Though Tim Duncan was obviously better defensively than Nikola Jokic, there is no question that Jokic is a better passer and shooter than the former Spurs superstar. The two do have some similarities as well, such as their post-up game and midrange ability as well.

Hopefully, we see Nikola Jokic win multiple championships just like Tim Duncan in the future. As of right now, Nikola Jokic has a case for being the best player in the league, and we’ll see if he’s able to lead the team to a championship this year.
