The Los Angeles Lakers recently faced off against the Denver Nuggets, with the final score being 119-108. They are now down 3-0 to the Denver Nuggets, and as of now, it looks as though their season is basically over.

After the game, a lot of fans took to Twitter to react to the outcome of the game. One fan suggested that this loss disqualifies LeBron James from the GOAT debate and that it’s disrespectful to compare him to Michael Jordan. LeBron James put up 23 points and 12 assists in the game but shot only 33% from the 3PT range and 42% from the field.

A Twitter user even joked that LeBron James is not a top-10 player of all time after this loss.

Some even roasted the Lakers for losing, with the referees supposedly being on their side.

A Lakers fan was optimistic, predicting that the team would win in 7 games.

There’s no doubt that this was a tough loss for the Los Angeles Lakers on their home floor. Many expected them to win this must-win game, but it is clear that the team simply didn’t have enough to beat the high-powered Denver Nuggets offense. Jamal Murray notably had 30 points in the first half, and it is clear that he was the key player that propelled the Nuggets to a win.

A 3-0 comeback has never been done before, but even if the Lakers do end up losing this series, this was a solid season for them. They managed to get to the Western Conference Finals despite playing with a new team after the trade deadline, and that is commendable. Next season is the key one for them, and that is when they should have true championship expectations.
