Kendrick Perkins Thinks The Lakers Won Free Agency
The Los Angeles Lakers have managed to retain all their core pieces around LeBron James and Anthony Davis and added some more interesting ones like Gabe Vincent and Cam Reddish. The team is looking stacked for a deep playoff run next season, and Perkins believes the franchise is winning free agency.
“This means that Rob Pelinka is doing his thing right now,” Perkins said on ESPN. “The Lakers right now, I know it’s early, they are winning in this free agency. They are winning right now.”
While a lot of the main free agents are off the board, there are many moves yet to be made. Damian Lillard being traded could set off a series of moves across the league, and other teams are working on deals in the background. Some teams may have done well in early free agency but an overall grade for the offseason is yet to be assigned to any team.
