NBA Fans Engage In Heated Debate After Controversial Post: “I Love People Saying Michael Jordan Wouldn’t Have Done What LeBron Did When Michael Jordan Famously Did Exactly What LeBron Did.”

The NBA community is getting into more and more debates regarding LeBron James’ greatness and his place among the best players in history. There is no doubt that he will finish his career as one of the best to ever do it, but when it comes to the GOAT title, some people still believe James hasn’t reached that level – and he probably won’t.

Following Game 5 of the 2020 NBA Finals, NBA fans flooded Twitter to criticize or support the Los Angeles Lakers star for his actions during the last seconds of the game. Some considered he shouldn’t have passed the ball to Danny Green while others say he did the right thing.

One Twitter user tried to remind everybody that Michael Jordan passed the ball in these situations during his active days, receiving mixed responses. Somehow people still make debates about MJ vs. LeBron for the tiniest details and this wasn’t the exception.

Some fans agreed that Jordan did it and others claimed that he didn’t do it every time, unlike LeBron.

Does bron have any game winning finals shots? Jesus Christ. 10 appearances. Yall keep pointing to kerr……that one time😄 Muhfukkin bron got ray allen, kyrie, now almost green😂😂😂

Just take one "shot" pic.twitter.com/D8U5vWMYyI

LeBron has the most playoff game winning shots at the buzzer but keep spreading bullshit!

— Ed, Edd n Edjuyl (@edjuyl) October 10, 2020

Why are people saying MJ did it twice? It was Horace Grant that passed it to Paxson versus the Suns, not MJ. And even though the game was tied, MJ did pass to Kerr against Utah.

MJ is my guy. Through and through. But you’re so spot on.

Jordan had 3 people on him like Bron just had?

Dummy MJ didn't pass to someone and they cost them the game that could close the finals out. Each person he passed to hit their shot why because they was playing with the MFing Goat period. 6-0>3-6 no if and or but about it Bron ain't that dude. pic.twitter.com/EHJlLLgpHW

Mike passed the ball to a shooter who missed for a ring?

— Celtics  (@MJ23GoatTalk) October 10, 2020

LOL MJ did that like once. Lebron is notorious for passing the ball when it comes to game-winning shots. 99.99999999% of the time, MJ is taking the last shot.

We all sat & watched a whole hour ep dedicated to him doing exactly that, just a few months ago. These people are nuts.

No the difference is that Jordan made game winners in the finals, lebron has yet to. Lebron also has 0 game winning assists while Jordan has 2 in the finals.

Some people are saying Mike passed the ball to Paxson for a game winner that secured the series? Which finals was that? If they are referring to the 93 finals, technically, that was Horace who made that pass, not Mike.

Not that many damn times….LeBron did it back to back possessions. If it weren't for the AD putback, the game was over then.

These comparisons don’t seem to be stopping anytime soon. James has stated he wants to end his career as the GOAT but this criticism doesn’t help his case. During this postseason, he was criticized for doing the same thing against the Portland Trail Blazers and the Denver Nuggets.

He was scoring 40 points, yes, but the time to step up was during those seconds, so it would be hard to see fans agreeing that LeBron is actually better than Jordan, who always tried to make the last shot. When he couldn’t, he had to look for help, but that wasn’t a normal thing for His Airness.
