The Los Angeles Lakers are truly in dire straits. Last night, in what was yet another must-win game for them, the Lakers lost in a blowout to the Dallas Mavericks. The Lakers were without LeBron James and Anthony Davis during the game, but the superstar duo was in attendance to watch their team play. But one picture has come out since the game ended that does not show either star in a good light.

There was a picture that went viral showing LeBron James and Anthony Davis laughing during the game, while the Lakers were being dominated by their opponents. The picture did not go down well with fans, as they were supposed to lead the team to win the NBA championship this season, but their injury problems, along with the rest of the Lakers who have been underperforming have held the team back.

NBA fans reacted to this picture going viral, with most fans actually coming to the defense of LeBron and Anthony Davis. Some fans noted that the Lakers’ season is done, so LeBron and AD shouldn’t really care. But there were other fans who believed that this was not a good look for them, as James and Davis are supposed to be superstars who can’t stand losing, whether they are on the court or not.

Definitely need to get better depth too, since AD and Lebron aren’t always available. No big names and shit I’m taking quality role players that can get it done on either end. I mean that 2020 finals team was built for the playoffs this team was barely built for the reg season.

They’re missing, kcp, Caruso and McGee rn. Super solid role guys but they’re all comfortably on new teams

I speak for all Laker fans when I say we want the season to end RIGHT NOW

Don't even wanna be in the play-in. Shut Bron and AD down and let Westbrook run the offense the way he wants to for the rest of the year. No need to prolong the inevitable.

Y’all get mad if they mope & sulk, y’all get mad if they crack a joke.

Clearly, this picture is controversial for fans. But this will not be the main cause of frustration for fans of the Los Angeles Lakers. Fans obviously expect more from their superstar duo, especially considering what they have seen from them in the past. But right now, things are very different from how they were 2 years ago.

Laker fans will be tired after seeing their team underdeliver throughout the season, especially considering they were considered favorites to win the NBA championship at the start of the season. Fans will demand a change during the offseason regardless of how the season turns out for them, whether it be players, coaches, or even the front office staff.
