For the majority of Game 2 in San Francisco, the Dallas Mavericks looked as though they were in control. They had a double-digit lead for a good portion of the game but ended up losing the game after a ferocious comeback from the Golden State Warriors.
A lot of fans roasted the Dallas Mavericks for blowing a huge lead to the Golden State Warriors. Notably, Stephen Curry had an outstanding performance to lead the Warriors in their comeback, tallying 32 points while shooting 60% from beyond the arc:

There is no doubt that this was a disappointing loss for the Dallas Mavericks. They could have potentially tied the series 1-1 before heading back home for 2 games, but are now forced to deal with being 2 games down against arguably the best shooting team in the league, one that has plenty of good scorers.
However, the series is not over yet. It is likely that the Dallas Mavericks role players will play better at home, and Luka Doncic will likely do his best to ensure his team avoids going down 3-0. They will play desperate in Game 3, and hopefully, that is enough to get them the win and give them some hope in the series.
For the Golden State Warriors, the goal is likely to try and win Game 3, and absolutely demoralize the Dallas Mavericks. The Warriors are an experienced team that has plenty of championship experience as the most dominant dynasty of the 2010s. They simply know how to win. Many people believe Stephen Curry is the best point guard in the league, and these playoffs have shown why.
Hopefully, though, we get a good rest of the series. Watching Stephen Curry and Luka Doncic face-off is amazing basketball, and as fans, we should want as much of that as possible.
