One of the segments called for Wilt to be on the list.

One of the fans couldn’t believe why Bird was not on it.

A fan called it a fairly accurate list.

These thoughts come on the back of Shaq’s list which he revealed to the LA Times. “Magic Johnson, Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan, LeBron James, and then [expletive] me,” he said when asked about his Top 10 all-time.

Stephen Curry, Allen Iverson, Tim Duncan, Karl Malone, and Isiah Thomas completed that list. He further added: “Also, you got to put Kareem on that second team too.” And that made it 11.

While Shaq’s list did garner mixed responses, it surely will not generate the scathing criticism that Dr. J’s did earlier.

Thoughts On Shaquille O’Neal’s Top 10 All-Time Players List

In one word, the list is iconic. With both present and former stars in the mix, Shaq’s picks show that these names weren’t off the top of his head, and if he did omit notable names, it would surely be for a reason.

The likes of LeBron James and Stephen Curry have seen such a meteoric rise in the NBA that they make the cut for the league of legends even if they were to call time on their careers today.

Shaq’s inclusion of his own name in the top 10 shows that he was always confident that he was a bonafide superstar of the game, which he truly was. The titles and the accolades over the course of his career speak for themselves.

In our opinion, this list dispels the notion of playing it safe. These players are rightful icons in their own right and Shaq simply knows greatness when he sees one. This is a thumbs-up from us.
