Will Russell Westbrook get traded from the Los Angeles Lakers? This was one of the biggest questions being asked around the NBA community this offseason. The former NBA MVP was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers last season in order to boost the team’s chances of winning an NBA Championship.
But when Westbrook played for the Lakers, he was far from what the organization expected him to be. As a result, there was a huge question mark with regard to his future with the Lakers ahead of the 2022-23 NBA season.
After months of drama, as of now, Russ is still with the Purple and Gold. Additionally, he is expected to star for the Lakers when the new season begins. One of the biggest issues that Russ faced last season was a lack of chemistry with his teammates.
Now, before the new season begins, it has been reported that Westbrook has developed a better synergy with at least LeBron James. This is a huge step for Brodie before the upcoming season.
Russell Westbrook Is Yet To Rectify All Flaws From His Game
Watching Westbrook’s game last season, it was evident that the former NBA MVP was struggling to shoot the ball well. In order to fix that flaw in his game, Brodie was seen trying to incorporate a new jumper into his skill set.
He obviously tried that out in the Lakers’ practices before preseason games. But some habits take time before a person can let them go.

Westbrook was trolled a lot of times last season for air balling some pretty easy shots during the regular season. Well, upon seeing Westbrook do the same before the 2022-23 NBA season, fans didn’t let go of this opportunity to troll him once again.

Over the last few months, Russ has had a target on his back. He was criticized a lot for his performance last season by numerous fans and analysts.
As mentioned by a few fans, he is probably letting those words get to his head. If he can somehow block out the outside noise, he may be able to get back in form. But can Westbrook do that in time? Or will he get traded before that? It remains a huge question.
