Anthony Davis Stands Up For LeBron James: "Everyone In The League Knows He Is Not A Dirty Guy..."

Following a dramatic scene on the court Sunday, LeBron James chose to avoid the media after L.A.'s comeback victory against the Detroit Pistons.

It was his questionable move against Isaiah Stewart that caused the Pistons player to rage in the middle of the game, essentially resulting in both guys getting ejected.

In light of all the criticism going towards Bron (for various reasons), Anthony Davis took the opportunity to stand in solidarity with his co-star, assuring the basketball world that James is not a dirty player and was actually going to apologize before Stewart completely lost his cool.

"Everyone in the league knows LeBron is not a dirty guy. I don't know what he was doing, but we wasn't going to allow that."

True, it's AD's obligation to support James in this matter, especially since the two of them are friends, but it doesn't mean Davis did not make a strong point.

LeBron has one of the best records in the league, and his resume is practically unblemished by scandals. By track record alone, we should give LeBron the benefit of the doubt.

On the flip side, though, the video does look pretty bad for LeBron, and it's not hard to see why fans have a tough time believing it wasn't an intentional act by the King.

Regardless of your views on the matter, the NBA will be taking a hard look at these series of events, and a suspension may be on the horizon for both LeBron and Stewart.

Still, this story might not be over yet. These teams play again next week, setting the stage for a possible continuation of what happened Sunday night.

But let s hope it doesn't come to that...
