Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant and LeBron James are three of the most dominant players in the history of the NBA, but even though they were dominant, they also suffered a couple of losses. We already saw the list of players that never lost against MJ. That's already impressive, but having a positive record against Jordan, Kobe and LeBron is something that only one person can brag about.
On Sunday night, ESPN's Stats & Info asked fans who is the only player with a winning record against each of Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant and LeBron James, including the playoffs.
The answer didn't take long to arrive, as one user named the Detroit Pistons icon Chauncey Billups as the winner. Billups, who was part of those Pistons that shocked the world when they beat the Lakers in the 2004 Finals, boasts a positive record against each of those players. That's surely something you want to tell your grandkids about.
Billups' record was:
- 6-4 vs Michael Jordan
- 24-21 vs Kobe Bryant
- 22-17 vs LeBron James
Several people named San Antonio Spurs legend Tim Duncan, but he went 2-3 against Jordan.
Billups did win the personal duel against Jordan, Bryant, and James. He was a nightmare for Bron in the East with the Pistons, he beat Kobe in the Finals in five games in 2004. You can say that the 4-1 series made the difference for Billups and his record against the Mamba.
