James Wiseman’s rookie season was an up and down rollercoaster. While most people could see the amazing athleticism and the raw talent, it was also clear that James Wiseman was inexperienced. Young players take a while to develop, and it is clear that James Wiseman needs time to fulfill his massive potential.

There has been a lot of talk about James Wiseman’s fit with the current Golden State Warriors core. James Wiseman is 19, while Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, and Klay Thompson are all in their 30s. It is clear that their timelines are different, though it is possible that James Wiseman will make an improvement next season, and be part of the rotation.

Chris Bosh is one of the people who believe in James Wiseman’s ability to contribute. In a recent article by Bruce Jenkins of the San Francisco Chronicle, Bosh revealed the things that James Wiseman should do to contribute to the Golden State Warriors and seems to believe that the Warriors are in a good situation right now.

I truly believe in Wiseman. All he has to do is set screens for Steph and Klay and roll, and he’ll be open all next season, they just have to really enjoy the situation that they’re in right now.

There is no doubt that the Golden State Warriors could elect to make a win-now move and trade James Wiseman as part of a package for a star: after all, they’ve won with a superteam before. However, it is also possible for James Wiseman to be a solid rotation piece next season, with even more upside in the future.

The Golden State Warriors will likely be looking for any move that could help them compete in the near future: there is a chance that Wiseman won’t be on the team next season. However, if James Wiseman does remain, there are definitely some simple things he can do to help the Warriors play winning basketball.
