Bradley Beal is one of the best shooting guards in the league. He averaged 31.3 PPG and finished as the runner-up in the race for the scoring title, missing out to Stephen Curry. Beal is an amazing shot creator who can carry a team’s scoring load.
There have been a lot of rumors about Bradley Beal potentially leaving Washington in order to compete elsewhere. These rumors happen every summer, but if Bradley Beal were to leave, there are a lot of teams that would love to acquire him. While a player doesn’t always have say in where they get traded, a report suggested that Bradley Beal would love to join the Boston Celtics, where he’d get to play with friend Jayson Tatum.
For a star like Bradley Beal, a team would likely have to give up a lot of assets. It would make sense for the Washington Wizards to pursue a package based around young All-Star Jaylen Brown, though Zach Lowe doubts the Celtics’ willingness to give him up in a Beal trade.
Zach Lowe just now on ESPN's Woj & Lowe special regarding Bradley Beal:
"Is Boston going to offer Jaylen Brown? I don't think so." pic.twitter.com/eOvSv7Tu7u

Is Boston gonna offer Jaylen Brown? I don’t think so. To me, there’s not much point in giving up one star for another if you’re Boston.
While Bradley Beal is a better player than Jaylen Brown overall, Brown is also an All-Star who fits Jayson Tatum’s timeline. Jaylen Brown could still end up in a package for Bradley Beal, but there are definitely scenarios where the Boston Celtics could get Bradley Beal without giving up their young All-Star in the trade package. If they managed to do that, the Boston Celtics would be contenders with a big three of their own.
There is no doubt that the Boston Celtics will have a different look next season. Brad Stevens is no longer coach, and Kemba Walker has been traded. A move for Bradley Beal will signal the Celtics’ intentions of winning now, and it seems as though it could be a possibility.
