Chris Paul On James Harden: “Nobody Can Score It Like Him. It’s Crazy Man.”

Bleacher Report

Over the course of the 2020-21 season, James Harden has adjusted his game to fit his role with the Brooklyn Nets, which is to be a playmaking point guard next to Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant. He has shifted his game seamlessly to fit with his two co-stars and sacrificed some of his own scoring for the benefit of the team.

However, there’s no doubt that James Harden can score if the need arises, and we have seen his scoring exploits during his Houston Rockets days. He was an elite volume scorer, while also being a capable playmaker to boot. It was James Harden’s scoring that allowed the Houston Rockets to be a good team year after year and be competitive in the postseason.

Someone who has witnessed James Harden’s scoring first hand was Chris Paul, his former teammate on the Rockets. The two were a great duo for the short time that they were together, and they took the dynastic Golden State Warriors to 7 games in 2018. Even though they are no longer teammates, Chris Paul has recently shouted out James Harden’s scoring and stated that nobody can do it quite like him.

James Harden has 3 scoring titles to his name, and there’s no doubt that his scoring was next-level during his Rockets years. However, even if he isn’t scoring as much these days, he is still doing wonders on the offensive end.

There’s no doubt that James Harden is one of the most talented scorers that this game has ever seen. The Brooklyn Nets give Harden a very good chance to win it all in the upcoming season, and there’s no team that can match their firepower on the offensive end. Hopefully, we see James Harden win at least one championship before he ends his career, and perhaps he’ll do it next season.
