Playing in the NBA takes an immense amount of talent and not everyone is capable of doing it. But becoming one of the best players at their position in the league is an even harder task.

However, the Portland Trail Blazers superstar Damian Lillard is someone who has accomplished that role perfectly. Dame is not only an elite point guard in the NBA, he is among some of the most beloved players in the league.

On top of that, Dame has mastered another skill. Yes, we are talking about Lillard’s skill to release songs with amazing raps in it. Apart from being a prolific NBA superstar, the 321-year-old also tends to release his own songs from time to time.

For example, his song about the late NBA legend Kobe Bryant was a huge hit. Anyway, Dame is resting for the entire season due to an abdominal surgery. This has led to his fans wondering when Dame Dolla will release a new song.

While Lillard hasn’t released a new song, he did appear on an amazing podcast with renowned NBA analyst Shannon Sharpe. Dame talked about several things in the podcast such as his NBA Mount Rushmore featuring the likes of Michael Jordan and LeBron James.

In the same podcast, Lillard was also asked about his Mount Rushmore featuring the best rappers. Lillard answered:

“Mount Rushmore of rappers, I’m gonna go with Tupac, I’m gonna go with Jay-Z. I’m gonna go with Tupac, Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, and I’m gonna go with Biggie.”

(starts at 1:00:45)

Being a rapper himself, Dame chose a pretty amazing list of rappers to feature on his Mount Rushmore of the same.

Even Shannon Sharpe appreciated the Mount Rushmore provided by Lillard. He also mentioned that if the list didn’t feature the name of Tupac on it, he would have thrown the list out. Well, it didn’t come to it since Lillard’s list had Tupac as the very first name on it.
