Derrick Rose Still Uses A BlackBerry Phone In 2021: “I Love The Keyboard. I’m Tired Of The iPhone And Tired Of The Gimmicks.”

Derrick Rose is one of the most authentic players out there. Since he entered the NBA, the point guard showed he was different. He has remained true to himself, and that includes almost everything in his life.

The New York Knicks player has a curious taste when it comes to cell phones. He’s not like most NBA players who boast iPhones or expensive Android phones. He doesn’t want to know anything about that and is still using a Blackberry.

It’s not like Derrick became a hipster overnight. He has been like this since always. Pictures of him in Paris in 2013 show him using a BlackBerry, and a recent photo confirms that the man is loyal to the brand.

NBA Buzz recalls that Rose isn’t a fan of the iPhone, and he likes the classic Blackberry keyboard.

“I love the keyboard. I’ve always been a Blackberry guy. It’s just different, bro. I’m tired of the iPhone & tired of the gimmicks. That’s the reason why.”

This is incredible to know during these times, where iPhone and Android fight for the throne of the cell phone market in the U.S. However, Derrick is different, and he shows that every day.

BlackBerry lost the competition several years ago, but they can count on a loyal customer in the youngest NBA MVP.
