LeBron James has become an icon in the NBA. James has been in the NBA for 20 years and has been the face of the league for almost that entire time. LeBron has become a cultural icon and has transcended the sport of basketball.
James has ventured away from the sport of basketball and has dipped his toe in several different endeavors. Whether it be his philanthropic efforts or his work in the media industry, James keeps himself busy away from the court.
LeBron has been doing a lot of projects in Hollywood. One of his first big projects was his appearance in the 2015 film ‘Trainwreck’. After that, he and his business partner Maverick Carter started a talk show on HBO called ‘The Shop’, which features guests from different industries and walks of life.
But without a doubt, his biggest endeavor has been his latest movie ‘Space Jam: A New Legacy’. James was the leading man in the sequel to the legendary 1996 movie that starred Michael Jordan and the iconic Looney Tunes cartoon characters.
The movie was made for a whole new generation of young basketball fans that were too young when the original movie came out. But critics slammed the movie, giving it very negative reviews. James seemed to be unbothered, especially after how well the movie performed commercially.
One fan was extremely enthusiastic about the movie, and let LeBron James know at the Los Angeles Lakers preseason game. The fan screamed to get LeBron James’ attention, telling him he watched Space Jam 2 and that he really enjoyed it.
"I watched Space Jam! It was good!"
This fan wanted to make sure LeBron heard him 😂

“LeBron! I watched Space Jam. It was good!”.
LeBron didn’t acknowledge the fan, but Carmelo Anthony, who was sitting close by noticed him. Melo clearly found the fan screaming quite amusing, and laughed at the entire incident.
While James didn’t acknowledge this fan’s comments, he would have appreciated the positive feedback. But now LeBron’s focus will be on the 2021-22 NBA season, where he and the Los Angeles Lakers will be vying to win the NBA championship.
