This season has been absolutely great for LeBron James, who has taken the Los Angeles Lakers to the postseason for the first time since 2013. The purple and gold are having a terrific playoff, being two wins away from the Western Conference Finals and obviously, James is playing a key role in the team’s success, which is why so many people believe he should be awarded the Most Valuable Player of the 2019/20 NBA season.

Frank Vogel recently made the case for Bron once again, even though the voting has been closed for some time now and everything points out that Giannis Antetokounmpo will win the prize. However, that hasn’t prevented Vogel from praising his star player, especially after the King set a new record for the most playoff wins in NBA history.

After the Los Angeles’ 112-102 win against the Houston Rockets in Game 3 of their second-round series, Vogel had nothing but good words for Bron, explaining why he should win the MVP award over any other player. According to Vogel, LeBron’s impact on winning is unmatched.

“Nobody impacts winning more than LeBron James,” the coach said, per Ben Golliver of The Washington Post.

“That’s true for this season: That’s why he should be MVP. Honestly, it’s probably true in the history of the game. No one impacts winning more than LeBron.”

Even at age 35, playing in his 17th season in the league, the King is still the best player in the world. This year the competition is hard for the Lakers but James, alongside Anthony Davis, has done a terrific job for the purple and gold. They are one of the favorites to win the NBA title this season and their recent performances are the confirmation of their condition.

Bron probably won’t win the MVP, but he has big chances to have a longer playoff run than Giannis Antetokounmpo.
