Ja Morant Takes A Shot At Stephen Curry Amid Beef With Andre Iguodala

It seems like the beef between Andre Iguodala and the Memphis Grizzlies is getting out of hand right now, as Ja Morant and their youngsters have taken several shots at the 3-time NBA Champion.

Iguodala is reluctant to play for the Grizzlies as he wishes to be dealt to a contending team, something that hasn’t fared well inside the team’s locker room.

Thus, Dillon Brooks claimed the team’s youngsters are actually looking forward to Memphis trading him away so they can face him and show them ‘what they’re all about’.

So, with Iguodala involved in all those controversies, Stephen Curry went on to his Instagram account to show his support for his former teammate, posting a picture of Andre holding the Larry O’Brien trophy with an emoji telling everybody to shut up.

ESPN’s Rachel Nichols shared Curry’s story on his Twitter account, so Ja Morant didn’t hesitate to take the beef up a notch and reply with a picture of Kevin Durant holding the Finals MVP trophy, which was a clear shot at Curry, who’s yet to win that accolade throughout his career.

Truth to be told, Iguodala could actually chime in and play for the Grizzlies, who are surprisingly still in the hunt for a playoff berth even without him.

The Grizzlies, on the other hand, could also pay some respect to an NBA Champion and grant his wish to be bought out rather than demanding yet another pick on a trade after already getting one from the Warriors in the summer.

Whatever the case may be, it’s nice to see the Grizzlies’ young guns try to show some competitiveness and willingness to prove that they won’t be bossed around.

Still, perhaps they should know better than trying to get in the head of the greatest shooter ever when they’re just walking their first steps in the league. Is this really how you want to start your career?
