Basketball is a sport, one of the most popular ones worldwide, but the NBA has evolved into much more than just a sport. The league is now an entertainment product, with lots to go along with the actual game on the court itself. The media is a large aspect of how fans consume basketball, and many are just as invested in what the pundits and analysts have to say as they are in what happened on the court.
This has been both good and bad for the game. Opinions on analysts and what they do remains split, Kevin Durant openly doesn’t like quite a few. But TNT consistently gets it right, especially with their panels that consist of former NBA stars. The Inside The NBA crew with Charles Barkley, Shaquille O’Neal, Kenny ‘The Jet’ Smith, and Ernie Johnson has won Emmys and is arguably the most loved basketball panel in the world.
They also have a Tuesday night crew, with Shaquille O’Neal turning up on that panel as well. The other members so far were Adam Lefkoe, Candance Parker, and Dwyane Wade. But it seems that this is set to change for the coming season, with another former NBA star about to take over from Wade.
TNT’s Tuesday Night Crew Is Set To Replace Dwyane Wade With Jamal Crawford
The Tuesday night crew isn’t close to as popular as the Inside crew, but they’re still watched quite a bit and have a good amount of following. And Jamal Crawford, who has made guest appearances on both shows, is considered to be a good analyst. So much so that it would seem he will take Wade’s spot on the panel for the coming season.

Dwyane Wade was far from a popular member of the cast, many fans had issues with the way he was on TV. Wade may have been one of the most electrifying guards in the league in his prime, but his presence on the screen showed none of that.
Crawford may not have had the same success in the league that Wade enjoyed, but he was a pure baller in his own right. JCrossover, as he was fondly called, has spent a long time this offseason running his Pro-Am league for a lovely reason. And now it seems he is ready to step into the world of television more permanently.
