Kevin Durant is well-known for trash-talking opponents, and he is often caught trolling on social media or with his comments to reporters. There's no doubt that he is one of the most intriguing personalities in the game today.
The Brooklyn Nets recently defeated the Philadelphia 76ers in a blowout, 129-100. There's no doubt that the Nets put the league on notice with this win, and that was without 3-time All-Star, Ben Simmons.
We all know that Ben Simmons and the Philadelphia 76ers have a lot of history. The All-Star did not end up suiting up tonight, but it is obvious that his services were not needed for the Nets to dispatch the 76ers.
Ben Simmons received a lot of boos from Philadelphia 76ers fans prior to the game. However, those boos were quickly silenced by the Brooklyn Nets dominating the Philadelphia 76ers on their home court.
Kevin Durant trolled the 76ers fans that heckled Ben Simmons, pointing out that there were no "Ben Simmons chants" towards the end of the game when it was clear the 76ers were going to lose.
Quieted all of them down midway through the game. It was very quiet towards the end, we ain't hear no more Ben Simmons chants from the Sixers fans. It was more Nets fans in here than anything.
The Brooklyn Nets have struggled due to the inconsistency in their lineups, due to a variety of factors such as injuries to key players. However, it is abundantly clear that they can beat any team in the league when fully healthy. No team with Kevin Durant should ever be counted out, and it's been reported that they could get Ben Simmons back before the playoffs as well.
Hopefully, we see a full-strength Brooklyn Nets team sometime prior to the end of the regular season. They'll definitely need some time to build chemistry with one another. However, on paper, they have the potential to be one of the best teams in the NBA.
