Kevin Durant’s Reaction To Gervonta Davis’ Big KO vs. Rolando Romero: “Nobody Better…. That Left Is A Missile. Stay Away.”

2 Min Read

Kevin Durant has been very active on Twitter after he took some vacations following the Brooklyn Nets’ elimination from the 2022 NBA playoffs. After the Boston Celtics swept them from the postseason, KD took some time off to recharge and came back stronger on social media.

He has been going at it with fans again, demonstrating some entertaining back and forths with fans. Moreover, the 2x NBA champion has been watching some events, including boxing. This is something that Damian Lillard normally does, but KD also enjoys a good fight.

On Saturday night, boxing sensation Gervonta Davis faced off against Rolando Romero at KD’s house, Barclays Center. He was heavily favored to win the match, which is exactly what happened. Durant first welcomed Davis to the ring, wishing him well:

“I be talking to the tv like I’m the Cut man. Lets get it Tank”, the Brooklyn Nets superstar tweeted.

After Gervonta knocked Romero out with a big left hand, Durant reacted to the fight, saying that Gervonta’s left hand was a missile and people should stay away from it if they didn’t want to get hurt:

“Nobody better…. That left is a missile. Stay away. ⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️”

Davis is one of the best fighters in American boxing, just like Errol Spence Jr., the Charlo brothers, Ryan Garcia, Adrien Broner and more. Tank put up a show again against Romero, who looked very confident ahead of the bout.

Davis demonstrated that he’s that guy and it’ll be hard to see somebody beating him in the near future. He has heavy hands and improves his level every time he steps into the ring. Just like Durant said, people are better off avoiding that left hand.
