The Golden State Warriors have recently defeated the Denver Nuggets in Game 3 of their series. Though it was a close game, ultimately the Warriors prevailed due to their guard trio of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Jordan Poole.
NBA analyst Kevin O’Connor has recently claimed that the Golden State Warriors are the favorite for the title once again. He stated that the Warriors’ guard trio is the “best offensive trio” in the league, and added that Draymond Green is the “league’s best defender”, hence him picking the Warriors as the favorite.

There is no doubt that the Golden State Warriors have a very good shot of winning the title. They have a lot of talent on their roster, and when their offense is flowing, it is hard to imagine any defense stopping them. They finished as the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference, but Warriors forward Draymond Green previously claimed that seeding doesn’t matter for them, and added that they would win the title regardless.
“Whether we’re the No. 2 seed or No. 3 seed, we’re going to win a championship. Don’t really matter.”
It remains to be seen if the Golden State Warriors will end up winning the championship. They definitely have a solid chance of being able to do so, and their veterans know what it’s like to win at the highest level.
A lot of fans would love for the Golden State Warriors to be back to the Finals, but there is definitely quite some time left until that potentially happens. It would be good to see Stephen Curry get back to the highest stage of basketball, and perhaps this is the year he gets his Finals MVP.
