LeBron James is on the verge of turning 38 years old. This is LeBron’s 20th season in the NBA, but the way he has played so far this season, no one can say that he has played so many minutes in the league. After all, by this age, even the best players in history have shown signs of slowing down.
James, on the other hand, is aging flawlessly and putting up monster numbers on a nightly basis. But despite doing so much for the Los Angeles Lakers, James’ contributions aren’t converting into victories for the franchise. As of now, the Lakers have an underwhelming record of 14-21 in the Western Conference. This has led to most calling out general manager Rob Pelinka and owner Jeanie Buss.
Lakers Fans Are Furious With Rob Pelinka And Jeanie Buss
After playing 27 games, LeBron James is currently averaging 27.8 PPG, 8.1 RPG, and 6.6 APG. For someone who will turn 38 years old very soon, these are monster numbers. But basketball is a team sport, and without the support of his teammates, James alone cannot do much.
In fact, in a recent interview, James expressed his desire to still wanting to compete for winning NBA Championships. Many believe that the Lakers need to free LeBron James from their shackles and let the King have a good time in his final few years in the league.
But who is to blame for this condition of the team? Well, most fans on Twitter believe that Rob Pelinka and Jeanie Buss are the culprits here.
That trade request LeBron asks for in the offseason is going to be insane.

LeBron James is undoubtedly one of the best players to ever play in the NBA. In fact, for many, he is the best ever to play the game. Considering James’ insane longevity, many expected him to still win at least one more championship before retiring from the NBA.
But the way things are right now and how the current Lakers roster is constructed, the hopes of winning a ring are secondary, if the team qualifies for the postseason, it’ll be a miracle. Will Pelinka and Buss take action? Or will we see James’ time with the Lakers end after this season?
