Patrick Mahomes is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL today, and there’s no doubt that we often see him do some insane things on the football field. He is playing at a high level this year, and that is currently on display in the Kansas City Chiefs game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

LeBron James has recently reacted to Patrick Mahomes’ play against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, obviously being in awe of the quarterback’s magic on the court. Based on some of the highlights from the game, LeBron James was entirely justified in his reaction.

Patty Mahomes 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. So damn good!! 🪄

LeBron James and Patrick Mahomes are obviously both superstars in their respective sports, and it is clear that James is a fan of Mahomes’ talent. The Kansas City Chiefs were 2-1 going into their contest against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and it definitely looks as though they’ll be improving to 3-1 by the time the game is over. They have clearly started off the season well, despite losing receiver Tyreek Hill.

The Lakers Need To Start Their Season Strong Like The Chiefs

The Los Angeles Lakers did not have a good 2021-22 season, and LeBron James is likely hoping that the team can start the season on the right foot like the Kansas City Chiefs.

Part of the reason that the Los Angeles Lakers struggled last season was due to Frank Vogel’s inability to find a way to make stars LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Russell Westbrook work as a trio.

However, it seems as though that will be less of a problem for the Los Angeles Lakers this year. Coach Darvin Ham has recently suggested that he has plays designed for all three stars, and it is clear that he has prioritized finding a way to help the trio coexist.

“We have a three-man package, actually a playcall, that they’re going to thrive in and it involves all three of them. I look forward to that being at a very, very high level.”

Hopefully, we will see the team start the 2022-23 season strong, and rattle off some quick wins. It is important for them to build momentum early to avoid the same season outcome as last year.

LeBron James will obviously be extremely important for the Los Angeles Lakers this year, and he will need to continue to produce at a superstar level for the team to get far. There is no doubt that LeBron James is still a top-5 player in the league, and perhaps we’ll see him make another deep playoff run next year.
