Ja Morant put on an absolute clinic last night against the Golden State Warriors. Ja Morant scored an incredible 47 points against the Golden State Warriors, taking over in the 4th quarter to help the Grizzlies tie up the series.

It was a performance befitting a superstar from Morant, one that caught the eye of the NBA community. And one NBA legend says Morant is showing that he is a superstar in the making right now.

LeBron James took to Twitter to talk about Ja Morant. Previously, LeBron had noted that Morant deserved to have been above the contenders in the running for Most Improved Player.

In a follow-up to that Tweet, LeBron noted that Morant’s performances this season have shown that he is above the MIP award and that Morant is a future superstar in the NBA. Morant has earned the respect of LeBron James, and the rest of the NBA with his game.

Ja Morant actually joined LeBron James and Kobe Bryant as the only players in NBA history to have multiple 45+ point performances in the playoffs before turning 23 years old.

Morant stepped up when the Grizzlies needed him most, as he helped the Grizzlies tie up the series 1-1. Now the Grizzlies will travel to San Francisco to play. The Grizzlies will be determined to pull at least one game back at the Chase Center.

After the game, Morant was actually spotted talking trash to Stephen Curry. Morant has shown on numerous occasions that he is not afraid of big-game situations, nor does he fear the superstars of the league.

Ja Morant is taking the next step to becoming a superstar in the NBA, and his playoff journey will be one to behold if things go his way.
