The Los Angeles Lakers added an excellent piece in Russell Westbrook, instantly becoming title favorites for the next campaign. The purple and gold are ready to make some noise in the league and win their second championship in three years, but the job won't be easy.

Although Russell Westbrook is a terrific player, the 2017 NBA MVP doesn't solve all the Lakers' problems. In fact, he might add a couple more when it comes to shooting. Brodie isn't the most excellent shooter of all time, which sparks many questions about him and his new team.

No other player on the starting lineup can shoot 3s consistently, and fans should be worried about it. When somebody asked who was stopping a starting five of Westbrook, Talen Horton-Tucker, LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Andre Drummond, one fan had the perfect response.

"The 3-point line," somebody tweeted.

This sparked many reactions across social media, with rival fans blasting the Lakers, while the purple and gold supporters made a case for their team. Even though they may be terrible from beyond the arc, they are nearly unstoppable while attacking the rim.

These jokes will always hit a nerve with fanbases, especially the Lakers one. Still, the team is trying to add more firepower to their roster, getting some shooters in free agency. Buddy Hield is a good candidate for the 17x NBA champions, but time will tell if they can make this move happen.

The only certain thing now is that the Lakers need to get more assets to reclaim their throne as NBA champions.
