Luka Doncic is one of the many NBA players to have made a cameo in the LeBron James and Adam Sandler-produced movie ‘Hustle’. The movie is a Netflix exclusive and casts Juancho Hernangomez as the main character, Bo Cruz, making his way from being discovered by a scout to the dizzying heights of the NBA.

The movie is filled with player cameos, with a few notable ones including Kenny Smith, Seth Curry, Tobias Harris, Trae Young, Aaron Gordon, Doc Rivers, Tyrese Maxey, and Khris Middleton. More NBA players are cast in the movie, including Anthony Edwards, Kyle Lowry, and Matisse Thybulle.

The Dallas Mavericks are one of the teams that seem to have sent heavy reinforcements to the Hustle casting list. Boban Marjanovic is a part of the movie as a ’22-year-old’ player. There are notable cameos from other people from the Mavs family, including Dirk Nowitzki, Mark Cuban, and Luka Doncic.

Doncic is reacting to a scene in the movie that features Juancho Hernangomez or Bo Cruz doing ‘The Boa Challenge’, after a cameo from Julius Erving led to an open challenge at a park by Juancho to anyone that can beat him in a shoot out. During a montage of them showing the clips go viral, Doncic appears and says, “Holy s**t! Bo Cruz! Where did this kid come from?”.

This movie is a treat for any basketball fan, as it is littered with cameos of some of the game’s greats and some of the current stars in the league.

Adam Sandler is extremely respected in the league for the basketball movies that he takes up, always treating the sport with a lot of dignity rather than making caricatures of it. His portrayal of basketball in ‘Uncut Gems’, which featured Kevin Garnett, was great, and Hustle is proving to be an incredibly enjoyable watch for basketball fans.
