The Charlotte Hornets extended their winning streak to two games after defeating the New York Knicks 104-96 at Spectrum Center. Although it looked like a good night’s work, the legendary Michael Jordan was animated following the poor decision-making by Kelly Oubre Jr.
Up by seven points with 17 seconds on the clock, Oubre Jr. opted to shoot a three-pointer instead of running down the clock. MJ could not hold back his disgust with the decision and was captured expressing his frustration on his seat. Fortunately, the Knicks could not inspire a comeback, and the Hornets ran away with the win.
Michael Jordan was HEATED that Kelly Oubre took a 3 with 17 on the shot clock up 7 instead of running the clock down.

The Hornets started the game poorly, losing the first quarter 34-18 before they found their spark. It was a different ball game in the second quarter.
Oubre Jr. will get some smoke at practice. A fan suggested that we might get to relive the Michael Jordan-Corey Benjamin sparring contest where MJ schooled Corey.

Oubre ended the game with 12 points and two rebounds while shooting 30.8% from the field.
MJ is known to have demanded perfection every night from himself and his teammates when he was a player. It is no surprise that he wants the same from his players now that he is a team owner.
The Hornets are currently on a 7-7 run and are one of the most exciting teams so far in the 2021-22 NBA season. Their offense has been impressive, but they have to do a better job making stops as they are currently ranked 27th in defensive rating.
